Looks like we have blown head gasket on 86 mariner 40 serial 6E9 - BAM marine list the head gasket but not the head cover plate gasket . is this still available somewhere. I assume its better to skim the head for flatness - If so how to replace the cover gasket - or can it be machined with cover still in place
