Marine Battery Info

Hi,
Can anybody PLEASE advie me what size of Marine Battery I need purchase in order to start my 25HP - 4stroke electric start outboard motor?

Your owner's manual will recommend the min. CCA for the battery. Get a starting battery, not a deep cycle one.

A deep cycle battery will work just fine on a 25 HP motor. In fact a very large number of folks are using them on much larger engines. It also allows running accessories without the need for a second battery. If this engine was a 200 HP a starting battery would be in order.
