Marathon Boat ?

Does anyone know about Marathon as a manufacturer?
I've seen them before but never looked at one seriously, or done the research on one. This is a 19 or 20 footer with a mercruiser alpha one. It has a small cabin. I don't know what power (haven't boarded her yet) .

Just looking for any pro's or con's.

Yup I owned one. I had a 23' cuddy.

Nice boat but Marathon used a wide variety of powerplants. I would not hesitate to own another one but it would depend on the motor/drive. I had one with a 470/170 and I kept it running but not happy. For a 23' cuddy it would go 39 mph with the 470 and handled nice.

Marathon was bought out by Chris Craft then closed down.
