I am looking at buying an original OMC manifold for my 1976 OMC 165. The parts diagrams all show a part number of 0984054 but the one the guy is selling is 909006 but he says its off an inline 6 omc 165. Does anyone know if these are interchangable and if it will work. I attatched a picture of it. Unfortunately I have an OSCO on there now and the numbers are different. Thanks.

Re: Manifold part numbers

0984054 is for a 4 cylinder engine, not 6 cyl. The 909 number you posted is not a good number. 0980958 MANIFOLD is what you want -it is obsolete but marineengine.com has one for $2000!, however, OSCO makes an aftermarket replacement for $450 - can probably get it here at iboats or anywhere OSCO manifolds are sold - OSCO is good stuff. that used piece looks like a 165 manifold but not many people familiar with boating would recommend buying a used manifold unless it's the only option - it's a crap shoot
