My 1988 16 Foot Lund Rebel sat out in a couple of rainstorms. Now the front of the boat appears to be full of water and won't drain. It plows the water and won't get up on plane. Any ideas of how to remedy this?

Guessing you have a clogged compartment drain up front. Is there access to check to see what may be the cause?

My 2014 Crestliner Fish Hawk has no drainage in the pedestal bases (no problem with the cup holders). I'm concerned that the water retention in the pedestal bases will contaminate the wood in the floor resulting in mildew, rotting, etc. Haven't contacted Crestliner yet but a "tough luck" response will not be acceptable. As we have invasive species inspections at most lakes here in Colorado, any water retention can be problematic up to the point of requiring a remote decontamination of the boat or even disallowing access to the lake. Manufacturer indifference to these resulting onerous situations will not be tolerated.
