Lowrance Elite-7 HDI and 75hp Evinrude tiller NMEA 2000 for guages Questions?

Hello yall,

I have a 2014 75hp evinrude e-tec tiller on my boat and I want a fishfinder/chartplotter. I was trying to research if this combo works to get me some gauges to monitor the motor. From my research I believe I have to go with the elite-7 hdi atleast.

Does anyone have this setup and do yall like it? Thanks for the help!

Further research appears you have to have the HDS model at a minimum.

So do I have to buy the modules or just the nmea2000 starter kit?
