Loss of Power - Yamaha F150

The motor runs fine for the first 10 minutes or so of operation but then won't rev past 4800 rpm. From there is goes down to about 4200 rpm and stays there. When I throttle down and have it at about 1400 rpm it stalls! Tough to start afterwards but it does fire up after some cranking. About 300 hrs on the motor, never had a problem with it before. Fuel problem?? No sputtering or backfireing, sounds smooth when running. Sherm

does sond like a fuel issue, check the fuel rail pressure, there is a filter just above the VST as well as the element in the cup and a filter on the intake of the high pressure pump in the VST,
