Looking for trailer setup source

I currently have an older Magic Tilt trailer that I would like to use for a '93 Pursuit 2150 that I purchased. Is there a good A-Z source for how to set up a trailer correctly for your boat? Meaning, I would like to learn about proper bunk placement, clearance guidelines, fit, tongue weight, etc.

53 years ago when I built my first boat I bought a trailer "kit" from Holsclaw. It had very detailed instruction manual on how to set up the trailer. The book got lost in one of my moves.

I was also guided by a book I borrowed called "The Trailer Boater's Guidebook". The lessons learned there are still valid to this day, even considering how trailer design has changed.

I would suggest searching your library. My guess is that book is still in print on a shelf somewhere.
