Looking for some info on power trim

I recently purchases a 1996 Donzi 255 LXC and havent quite figured out power trim/tilt.

The boat has a 5.7 mercruiser with bravo 3 drive. On the throttle control there are 2 switches for the trim I think. One is right on ther side of the handle and the other is somewhat under the top section. I guess one is for regular trim and the other is for when trailering the boat.

Any thoughts

one shoud be for the trim fully down and up about 1/2 of the stroke, this one should be at the top. the one on the side should be for the trailering, full up.
just try them while its out of the water to see.
