Livewell ripped out from the top

I've got a 2002 220 CC and one of my two livewells just ripped apart from the top. I've got it clamped right now, but need to know what is the best bondo type product for repairing this and how could I help support the livewells from the bottom to avoid this happening again?. It appears to be just fiberglass on fiberglass that I'd need to repair.

Anyone else have this issue?

This has never happened to me. I have a 190 cc and I fill up the front livewell frequently. It takes more bouncing that the rear ones, but there are some stress cracks in the gel coat around the lid.

Re: Livewell ripped out from the top

I'm repairing as we speak. I have already removed the console in my 190cc to fix and paint, and have flipped it, 5200 the seam and will reglass the livewell to the console. Then glass some support blocks to the bottom. Pain to remove the console, but killing 5 birds with one stone.
