When I Do A Link And Sync To What My Manual Says I Don't Get Full Throttle ? It Tells Me To Crank The Motor With The Elec. Starter And Advance The Throttle Controls Until The Timing Mark Passes The Top Dead Center Mark. At That Time The Linkage Should Just Be Touching The Carbs. When I Do This, The Distruber Will Stop On The Max Advance Stopnot The Throttle Stop. I Know That The Max Advance Is Right I Double Checked It. The Motor Runs Good But I'm Not Getting Top Speed Out Of It. My Manual Tells Me That It Should Get Full Throttle. It Should Have At Most 1/64" Play At Full Throdel I Have Now 1/4" Which Is A Lot I Would Say That At Most It A 1-1/4" Of Carb Movement. And The Idle Stop It All The Way In? Oh Yea It Is A 67 Merc 500 Thunderbolt Ign. Sn# 2167927. Any Sugestions Will Help Thankyou.
