I purchase a boat this past summer. It had a kill switch lanyard in one of the compartments and when we took the test drive I asked the seller about whether the kill switch was required to start. He said it wasn't needed on his boat when he bought it so he never messed with using it. I would like to use it and was wondering where it connected? I looks like it should fit around the key switch, but it won't clip on to it. I thought maybe the switch had been changed, but the key is an OMC key. I guess it still could have been changed, but thought maybe could point me in the right direction. And if I posted in the wrong forum, please move to correct one. Thanks.
