Just completed yearly maintance, Now port engine prop spins while in neutral

Any suggestions on why the prop spins while in neutral? The starboard engine barely spins while on the muffs. But the port engine spins fast as if was in gear. Tried to use a long plastic funnel to stop it, I was able to but it took a lot of force. By the way its a 2005 Yamaha 150 four stroke.

Probably just the natural drag/friction of the thick oil in the lower unit causing it to spin....

If you can stop it there is no problem -- just internal friction. In the water there is enough resistance to make it a non-issue.

Because the port motor is probably a counter rotating. It's normal
