jon boat seats?

I have some nice camo flip up seats but don't like the "bracket" that holds them down. It clamps over the front and rear of the aluminum beam (built-in seat) but It comes loose at the worst times. I'm interested in bolting through the stock seat...any ideas here? Any other options?

They make pedestal mounts that can be placed in the seats.<br /><br />I just put one on the front deck of mine.<br /><br />You just need to cut a 2.5" hole then mount it down with six screws.<br /><br />You can get the mounts for the boat and the corresponding one for the seat at walmart or kmart or any boating store.
