Hi Guys<br /><br /> Need some quick info!<br /><br /> Will the complete tilt and trim unit off of a 95 johnson 60hp fit a 98 55hp commercial motor?<br /><br /> Will the tilt and trim release the motor if it strikes a underwater obstruction?<br /><br />Thanks in advance<br />Brad

Don't know about the swap fitting but yes, it has a bypass relief if you hit something.
