johnson seahorse 10 water pump question

Hi, I have a 1963 seahorase 10 hp outboard. I'm rebuilding the water pump. The parts catalog doesn't show a gasket between the impeller housing and the impeller plate, or between the impeller plate and the bearing housing (lower half of the impeller housing). Should I make a gasket for inbetween these, or use some rtv sealant around the edge? Or, does this pump not need to be sealed here?

No gaskets needed. If they were, they'd be in the parts list. Don't use any RTV, either.
