So I rebuilt all 6 carbs boat starts fine stays in quick start drops off the slowly accelerates. I did lync and since. E200TXECM 1998 200hp. I replaced the flywheel from a previous post. Set timing and checked all carbs and firing on all 6 cyl. When it start reving up it goes up to 12--1500rpms.

I am not sure I understand your post. Does the motor idle at 1200+ RPMs when it is warm? Does Quickstart shut off?

Sorry, It starts great stays about 1100-1200 then after warm up settles at 800rpms, then it starts climbing back up to 1200-1500 rpms. Doesn't exceed this number. There is no sputtering or backfiring. All cylinders are firing and a good spark. All throttle plates are fully closed.

Idle speed should be checked with the boat floating free and in forward gear. Like that the idle should be between 600 and 800 rpm.

Maybe you have a stuck thermostat, allowing QuickStart to remain engaged? Disconnect the two-wire temp sensor and ground it the white/black lead, to disable QuickStart.

Yup either that or a bad temp switch, which can also be checked by grounding the white and black powerpack wire directly to ground. If you ground out that wire and the idle still remains around 1200, pull out the timing gun and see if the timing on cylinder 1 is hopping back and forth from about 4ATDC to 10BTDC.
