is it worth buying? CDI Aftermarket switchbox and coil kit

i was looking at oldmercs online catalog and found a aftermarket switchbox and coil kit made by CDI. i just recently fryed my switch box and coil tested bad also. i was thinking about buying this kit. my motor is a 67 merc 500 thunderbolt ign. sr#2167927. you cant buy a n.o.s. one for under 200.00 and then i would have to buy a coil also. i try not to buy used electronics because its a roll of the dice and often people wont refund the money or it is sold as is. the kit # is 332-2986K on this pagehttp://www.eastcoastmarineservice.com/ignsys.html
