Int'l Skimmer

I bought a boat recently, thinking it was an older 2180 DLX Carolina Skiff. It turns out (on the title) to be an International Skimmer. Has anyone ever heard of this brand, know where it (was) made or anything else about the MFG? Dimensions and configuration are in every way the same as a Carolina Skiff. The model year is 1991 and the HIN starts with the letters, "ISC."

I think someone else started making a boat called "skimmer" after ISC closed. Yes, very similar to the Carolina skiff J series. There is also a "bay Runner" (or maybe it's "Bay Skimmer") that is similar. they all copied each other.

Good stable boats; carry a big load; floats on a teaspoon of water; you can use a lot smaller motor on them for the size.
