intermittant spark on 150 evinrude

I am losing spark on the port side three cyl ( no 2 4 6 ) I have good spark when it is there, it will jump 1/2 in gap I was wondering if the power pack will do this or when it goes it goes I checked the wires and cleaned all grounds and still have the problem i only does it every so often and I cant seem to find the cause and ideas would be greatly appreciated

They made a bunch of 150's. Which one do you have?

Im sorry I didnt post the model no this is the closest model # i can refir to as there is no number on it Itried to trace he serial # but with no success model no e150tlce and it only has one power pack on it It is a 1989 150 xp
