Installing fuel tank.

Hello all. My fuel tank installed on top of my deck and under the center console. My question is what is the best way to fasten the fuel tank to the deck. They used a screw but it started corroding when the floor went bad. Can i use stainless steel screws to bolt it down once my new floor is in and the center console is properly sealed to the floor?

Yes, I would only use SSS on a boat...

I ask bow guy because i know dis similar metals will corrode aluminum pretty bad in some cases

Stainless steel is good with aluminum. Just don't use brass. It reacts worst than steel.

The tank sets on an aluminum substrate? If so I'd prolly use aluminum rivets to install nylon strap down system for the tank.
