Indmar 351 5.7 RPM

Hi All,<br /><br />I have an Indmar 351 5.7l v8 direct drive (1991) does anybody know what the max rpm would be?<br /><br />Cheers<br />Ross

A 351 would be a 5.8l Ford,........<br /><br />A 5.7l would be a 350 Chevy,.........<br /><br />Either Way,....... You're Pretty Safe shooting for 4800rpms, WOT.............

My old 351W was 46 to 4800rpm's depending on the prop used.

Thanks bondo, its says ford windsor on the top so it must be 5.8l, I took it to 4000rpm the other day and was going 40mph on 1 speedo and 42mph on the other, but still had a bit of throttle left when i pulled back as didn't want to over rev it, so i must be able to get over 50mph, we never normally go over 25mph when wakeboarding but nice to know the extra speed is there if needed.<br /><br />Cheers<br />Ross
