Identification

I have an old 6hp johnson and would like to find a repair manual but not sure how to find out what year it is any ideas. There is a # stamped on a ?freeze plug? not sure how to decipher it though. Any help would be appreciated.

There may be a serial number on the transom mount. Google that.
