I have yet to find the problem with my motor. Its a 92 120 hp L Drive in a Maxum 2100. I put a new power pack on yesterday and took it to the lake this morning and it ran worse than it did before. It would run to 2000 rpms and bog down. Ran smooth at 2000, but thats as high as it would go. I took it home and made sure the timing was advancing like it should, and it was okay. I am going to put a primer bulb in line and try to run it up to where it bogs at then squeeze it and see what happens. I rebuilt the fuel pump but only replaced 1 of the 3 check valves. I didnt realize it had 3 in there when I ordered the parts for it!
OR...It's for sale for $3500!!

Re: I think I'm done with it!

The kit i bought had 3 gaskets in it for the valves...ofcourse I could only get one out and that's the one in the center with the 2 screws. I think the other 2 might be pressed in because i tried to get those out and wouldnt budge. I think the 85hp and 120hp had the same fuel pumps. Before you buy make sure you can remove the other check valves. By the way...nice boat looks brand new!

Sorry for the troubles you are having, but $3500, now that is funny.

Are those the factory back-to-back seats?
