Only the bolts and 2 splined shafts (be SO happy you don't have an OMC :facepalm
. My personal preference is to leave the engine in neutral and remove the bolts. The leg should just about fall off at that point.
Do your water pump service (and drain the oil and fill with new
) and when you put the leg back on, just line up the small shaft at the front (shift-shaft) and the water tube and it should slide right back in... If you find it stops about 1" before it should, the crank splines are mis-matched. Just turn the flywheel with your fingers and it should just pop in....
