I have seen posts before regarding how to install a thru hull exhaust on a V-6, but it wasnt received well. So I am asking myself...I havent found many posts about it, and when I do, its for a V-6...any help would be great!
I have a 1990 Sunbird with a 1990 OMC 5.0L (Ford 302, I believe) with an OMC Cobra outdrive. What all is involved in installing a thru-hull exhaust? Where I live (Central PA)/Raystown Lake, there are no noise regulations. I want this baby to purr. I don't really want the 'converter' option where you can convert back and forth, I just want the thru-hull....is it just a matter of rerouting exhaust pipes/tubing through the stern hull? Is it something I can buy parts for myself, or is there more involved?
