This season I finally got the boat out.
1st time out I noticed we had a lot of water in the boat. I thought perhaps the rubber plug. It's 3 years old.

Different plug.

2nd time out, still water.

So today in the driveway I fill up the boat. No leaking....

Only thing I can think of is the transducer. When I'm at full power is sprays water on the engine cowl.. But doesn't look like it's coming into the boat. Where the heck is this coming from? Couldn't be the eye hook on front of the boat. The deck is sealed so I'd see water running past.

Re: How to find leak?

Sorry guys,
The boat is a 1962 Glastron Skyflite (see signature) Need to update my pic.

How much? Hard to tell. When boat is level you only see a little water in the sump area. But If I step into the back of the boat it will almost fill the sump area.

It think I may have found it... I had my son crawl under the bow of the boat and when I redid the deck, I did put in some drain holes. There's a wooden/resin plate that runs across the boat, This is sealed on both sides, so I put in drain hold "incase" water would get up there, it could be drained easily.. Coupled with that he noticed the bow hook bolt is rusty. When I detached it from the winch it's loose.
I'm guessing it's the source of the leak.
