How the blue blazes do you remove the steering cable from a teleflex rotory system???

Trying to remove the dash on my boat to replace it and I can't get the steering cable to pop out of the drum. I removed the clevis pin, but it still won't budge!! Any tips?

My experience is with a new Uflex rotary.....

Remove the bolt that holds the cable's collar in place and then thread the cable back out by turning the wheel.

The pin goes onto a different hole than the one you took it out of.
Should be a tag on it for directions. Once the pin is placed properly the cable will easily come out.

Of course, the darn tag is blank from the weather exposure!
