How Many OB's Ya Got???

I was working on one of my projects today and saw all 4 outboards of mine in the same vicinity and I thought to myself, "This is truly pathetic."
I was wondering if anyone else out there is outboard-poor...and if so what they are
I have:
a 1972 3.5HP Sears
a 1965 33HP Evinrude
a 1966 33HP Evinrude
and last (but by no means least) a 1976 115HP Johnson V4

140hp Johnson Looper 1985
7.5hp merc 1979
40hp Evinrude 1968

Mercury Thunderbolt 850 85HP... currently in 2 pieces waiting to get worked on... I really gotta build a better stand and bring it in the house..mebe that'll give Hubs some motivation to get workin on it

(1) 10 Hp Scott Attwater Bail-o-matic 1956


(2) Merc 500 50 Hp 1977


(3)Chrysler 85 Hp not sure age

always on the lookout for more project engines BILL

1990 Evinrude 4hp - Kicker for my boat.
1990 Evinrude 70hp - Completely disassembled.
1993 Evinrude 70hp - Rebuilt, hanging on a rack in garage.
1995 Evinrude 70hp - Rebuilt, on my boat.
2000 Evinrude 70hp - Needs a leg.

59 and counting.

1919 Evinrude Model A - 2007 Yamaha 25......and 57 in between. All run but 3, and they cost between $1 and $5 each and were bought for parts.

37 are Johnyrudes.....several are "daily" runners. 3 are Mercs....They are the pretty ones that hang on the wall for display only. The Yami is an anomoly...LOL.

87 suzuki 150 SS that needs a good home.
2007 E-TEC 175 that really needs a good home,may even come with a free 18 hydrasports fish and ski.
2007 yamaha F150
1995 EFI 200 merc that needs a good home.
89 evinrude 9.9 kinda modified .
couple others in the rebuild process including an 85 140 crossflow.
just bought a 27 albemarle that sank on a sandbar and needs a pair of engines.
to many projects and simply not enough time anymore thanks to E fuels .

Eight. 5 JohnnyRudes, 2 Mercs, and one Firestone. The Firestone is the only one that does not run at the moment. Got it for $25 at a garage sale. No idea what I was thinking, but I seem to have a compulsion to buy outboard motors. Must be something wrong with me. Next project is a larger stand so I can line them all up and look at them... :redface:

I am shy and humble to say I only have two: 1997 Force 15 hp and a 1981 Johnson 9.9
and If it was not for the wife I would own a few more ... LOL

Baha!! I like the idea of buulding a stand large enough to hold them so you can look at them all!

I feel ya on the compulsion thing. My collection went from 4 to 5 today after seeing a 7.5 Merc on craigslist and buying it for $125

1999 Force 40 hp (by Mercury)
19?? ChrisCraft 9-ish hp (needs work, but runs)

had:
1988 Mercury 200 hp Black Max
1980 Mercury 40 hp (it got to "not worth fixin")

I have my 115 Tower of Power Merc

2 - 2 Hp old Johnyrude's with mix knobs

an older 3.5 HP Suzuki

and a 25 HP Merc that is locked up from relatives running it with out oil in the gas.

'59 Johnson 18hp
'56 Evinrude 10hp
early '50's Evinrude 7.5hp
'6? Johnson 3hp

4 are in working order ('67, '59, '56, and '6?). The other two are in "project" status.
