How do I find the right part number for parts for my motor?

I'm looking for a water impeller kit for my 1989 Mercury 1150. I have the service manual but if its in there I can't find it. Used some part search engines but come up with nothing. My serial# is 4394841 if anyone can point me in the right direction. Many thanks in advance!

Mercruiserparts.com has all the parts diagrams. You might have to dig a bit and you will definately need to know your serial number.

That motor is more like 1979, according to the serial number. You might get the exact year by looking it up on the maxrules web site model year.
