How big of a motor

1988 Tracker TX-17. What is the boat rated for, motor size, and how much fudge factor do I have?

Welcome aboard!<br />I think the TX-17 had a max rating of 90 if I'm not mistaken.<br />My earlier TX-17 has a max of 60, but in '85 they changed the hull design, and I believe it went to 90. It should say on the plate right below the control box.

i have a 83 17'tracker tx turniment and it says 80 hp 4 persons or 1050lbs.hope this helps
