I know this is the high pressure system should be banging 20 plus at the needle. changed everything stats, pump housings, impellers (3) bla bla bla, anyone?

Do these pressure gauges use an electronic sender or an actual hose?

A hose, "t'd" into the water line or directly into engine. Water pressure pushes air up to the guage.

I plumbed the gauge into the hose on top of the block between the two heads. Not the hose that connects the two thermostats.

Re: Hooked up pressure gauge today

I did not notice any difference in water pressure when the poppet valve opened. It is now running cool over 4000 rpms but hot 170 when at idle or cruise. I suspect something is funky with the poppet install. When pressing the cover on it seems like the poppet valve is open a little and not pressing up against the block? Will take out again and peek in there.
