This little kicker will start on the first pull everytime, but as soon as you give it throttle, dead. If I throttle up slow, I can keep it running at about 10% throttle long enough to get my 19ft skiff back to the ramp (ask me how I know). This motor was run on ethanol gas until I purchased it 1 year ago. Previous owner said he ran the gas out evertime, and that the dealer said that should be adaquate. Is this a carb issue? Did the ethanol have anything to do with this? Thanks for your help!
