help!!with a 1969 115 lu.........

hi everyone changing out my prop seals but i cant get that center thing out.ive removed the prop nut,washer,the four bolts in side the bearing housing, put the puller on it applied some serious pressure,wont budge.my question is ....can you apply light heat?im just afraid of damaging anything.can you tap on the outside with a rubber hammer or a piece of wood?...any help or input would be great.thanks in advance!!!!!<br /> ***1971 18' winner 1969 115 jonny***<br /> ***THURSDAY***

You can use light heat but very light heat. Use a harmonic balancer puller. You may need to leave the puller on and shoot it with PB blaster and let it sit overnight then tap with a hammer an piece of wood while someone tightens the puller. Sooner or later something has to give. It's usually me.
