Harmonic Damper for 5.0 GM - Interchange

Long story short, damper is rusting away and needs replaced. Can I just use any 8" GM damper that fits the 5.0/5.7?? Don't see anything special about this one?? I believe all the GM dampers are drilled with the same three holes that will accept the raw water pump??

Ayuh,... I donno's I'd go as far as sayin' ALL GM dampeners, but ya, it's Just a Chevy unit,....

'n they're Most All the exact same part,... neutral balance in yer case,...

There is a difference in width between aftermarket car and VP ( may cause belt alignment issues???). I'm assuming theY weigh the same so that should matter has long as I stay 8" and internal balanced.
