Last weekend I got what I think is a really good deal off Craigslist

1995 Kawasaki 750 with some racing stuff on the engine (see Pics)

and it comes with a 1995 Load Rite Bandit trailer...galvanized...trailer jack, lights, etc in great condition.

I picked all of this up for $650.

I dropped this guy in the water and it is FAAAAST...as in full throttle is kinda scary and blows my 94 WR III out of the water (given that the WR doesn't rev up past half throttle yet)

Anyway, I know it has a Coffman Exhaust System and an Ocean Pro Vortex flame arrestor, but I had a question about the head. It looks like it is after market and has an interesting logo on it, but I couldn't find any distinguishable markings. Does anyone recognize the logo or have any idea maybe what it would be from?

Thanks...I am excited about this CL transaction...Worked out much smoother than when I got the WRIII.

You are lucky to get one of those XI body style ski's by Kawi. That jet ski is hands down one of the funnest skis to ride. The Coffman exhaust is where all of the performance is coming from, like almost 20 more hp. I can not help you with the head, but I would guess it is shaved about .040" or slightly more.

oh wow I didn't realize exhausts made such a difference! Do they make a drastic difference on other types of ski as well?

It is an SS not an Xi. Same hull but single carb, no trim and no top gauges. I am sure it is still a blast and dual carbs can be put on for another 3-5 HP. That is a westcoast head. I have an intake grate from them on my '94 Xi.

Is it converted to premix? If not you might want to consider it. Plug the engine drain while you are at it.

It is premix. It is also single carb, as you pointed out.

What is the engine drain that you speak of?

That knob connected to the front of the exhaust elbow is connected to the engine drain. It is there incase you sink and fill up the engine but can leak and cause a leak condition. Lean conditions lead to toasted engines. You can look on ebay for a crank case blockoff or engine drain blockoff. They are the same for 650 and 750. It is cheap insurance and easy to install.
