I live in the Twin Cities area and need to have some major fiberglass work done (patch a hole and repair a 5 foot section of peeled off gel coat) and was wondering if anyone knew of a good reliable shop.

you might want to try "the mother of all maritime links" click onto boat repair yards; there are a couple of hundred listed there, maybe one of them is near you.
