fuel pipes

Hi, I've just bought a "K8 Mariner 8 HP. Motor No. 680 L 306367, This has got 2 fuel pipes from the remote tank to the motor ( duel connector on motor). Is it possible to convert to single fuel pipe system, How do i go about this. what is the plug gap and fuel mix for this motor Can anyone tell me any history about this k8 mariner 8hp models. thanks

hi, the diagram is correct, I have no tank and no connectors, its very difficult to get these where i live,Is it possible to make single system, thanks:cool:

I don't know. The diagram for the fuel pump and carburetor looks like the second line is a vent for the tank. It appears to be like a sealed fuel system like modern cars to eliminate fuel vapors escaping to the atmosphere.

Do you have one or two fuel filters? I've found both single and double fuel filter set ups in 8 HP K motor diagrams.

I hope some one with the answer will see this thread.
