fresh water flushing setup for mercruiser

I installed a nice fresh water flush set up in my last boat.I connected hoses to the block drain on both sides and ran them to a connector up top and had an easy time flushing while in the water.I now have TWIN merc alphas and am looking for an easier set up.I am considering tapping a T connector to the hose in front of the power steering cooler.I am not sure if the water would go the wrong way and just exit the outdrive. CC

Be carefull with that plan.There are service advisories regarding flushing devices.let alone inline t's.Don't set yourself up for water ingestion.

Thanks for the heads up Hondon.I am familiar with the potential so I only flush at very low pressure and have never had a problem . CC
