I was so unsure about the o ring situation and not getting the info i was looking for.
i went on ahead and put the new valve body on , and it works perfectly now.
its still standing erict since last night.
trim holds and works perfect too.
i really aperciate all the pics and help from Jiggz.
it probably would have worked just fine putting back together, but i dident want to spend anymore time with this job.
just in case it dident work.
Here is the valve body i ending up buying and using.
it has a warranty and even came with a new o ring for the pump motor and resevor.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/231649378867?rmvSB=true
it was $99.00.
also i want to mention it seems to be a more updated one.
it dont have those c clips on the ends of the valve .
It has the allen screw end caps.

Well, that's great. Personally, I will continue to work on the old VB and put it together as a spare. The new units from the evil bay are Chinese made and are known to last 3~5 years. The original VB are USA made and very reliable up to 10~15 years.Of course that's just me.
