Foam for flotation under seats in aluminum boat

Any suggestions on the best foam to put under my seats in an old Sears aluminum V bow fishing boat? I am redoing the seats and it is a good time to replace it.

The pink or blue rigid XPS sheet foam insulation from Home Depot or Lowes is your best bang for the floatation dollar.

Some foam is missing under one seat. I get your point, why replace it if it still works. Will check out the 2" foam sheets at Home Depot, they looked good and I appreciate the recommendation.

If your existing foam is the white beaded foam of yesteryear it'll be better to go ahead and replace it all.
