I'm a little confused about the different Flo-Torq hubs. As far as I understand it, the Flo-Torq 3 & 4 provide more spring/cushion than the 2 does, but I can't figure out if the 3 or 4 can be used with a higher HP I/O or if they're outboard only I just switched from an aluminum to stainless prop & would like to minimize the vibration & clunk of the stainless with a nicer hub if that's possible. I got a Michigan Wheel Apollo 4 w/ the XHS hub kit from PropMD. The XHS seems to just be an off-brand copy of the Mercury Flo-Torq 2 hub (right?). So I'm wondering if I could upgrade to a Flo-Torq 3 or 4 & see an improvement?

The Flo-Torq III is designed for the 60 HP Bigfoot, 90 and 115 four strokes outboards.
The Flo-Torq IVs is designed for the 135, 150 and 175 Verados.

These were not designed for high HP I/O's. The hub is much lighter in strength over the Flo-Torq II hubs.
