I have a that 55lb thrust motor that is a transom mount that I had from my old jon boat, but it's not the type with the sophisticated hinge mount that I see for the bow mount...I am wondering if there is anyway I can use that thing to see how much I would actually use a trolling motor on it...

The fish I caught, from my Bowriders, weren't laughing. Lot's of them. The biggest Walleye I ever caught was from my Lowe bowrider. 8# 6 oz. She was a VERY pregnant female. I wieghed her, photographed her and released her.

That Lowe `1730 V was a fish magnet. I've never caught more fish from any other boat, including our Boston Whalers.

BR's are very serviceable for fishing, especially for children.

You can purchase "mounts" seperately for Trollers. Just contact the company that made it.
