Hi everybody,

I have a F115 (2002).
For the first time, yesterday, overheat alarm remained flashing on Tach (not buzzer) when I started engine, but my F115 was cold ?
When running at 4500 rpm, alarm disappeared. and came again at iddle speed.
It seems to be randomized.
Do you think it is the thermo sensor or anything else ?
Many thanks for your help

I would not disregard the overheat alarm signal and run the engine at 4500. Just because you started the engine, does not necessarily mean it was "cold". Cold to you maybe.

It is possible that you had/have a serious problem and could do damage to the engine.

While it may be a bad sensor, or electrical problem, disregarding an alarm is not, in my opinion a good idea .

Yes ... I would make sure the alarm goes off when the engine is cold. Is the water coming out from the little **** tube? If you are cold and the light comes on ... check the heat sensors and your thermostat.
