I have never done bellows before so I am paying a local person to put it back together. The problem is I was sent the exhaust bellow for a bravo that does not fasten to the outdrive. I have seen other outdrives like mine with the hanging bellow and it is fine. This guy says it cant be done and I think it is ok. Any professional opinions? We need to settle this to get it done. If I cant use it I will be a week ordering the other one

Mines not a profesional opinion but I've known others to use them. Why does he say it can't work?

He said it is not the one that came off it. Bondo showed me his boat and his like the one I was sent and he says his is fine.

wont work correctly. and I answered what happened on another post. if the kit contained the bravo tube it also contained a bravo drive bellows. its to easy to go to napa or a merc dealer and pay the overnight and get the correct parts to repair the thing. I would add dang yankee :) but its not PC :) :) .

The other parts fit because they are the same part number, as is the gimble bearing and the u-joint bellows. The only difference in the kits for that years alpha and bravo is the extra water hose, different exhaust bellow and a gasket I believe. I called the supplier and it took him a bit but he showed me and he was right. Bondo has the same outdrive as mine and he uses the bravo exhaust bellow. I didnt believe the kits were that close either. But you can call me da.. yankee if you like. lol
