evinrude fastwin starting problem

I adyusted the breaker point but motor still runs for few seconds. I look at the sparking plugs and saw that the spark plug of the upper cylinder is dry and the spark plug of the lower cylinder is wet! What can be a reason ? I look at the inlet leaf valve units but it seems to be ok. The carburetor is clean.

When you adjusted the points, what did the ignition coils look like? If they're cracked, they must be replaced. They'll arc over at higher rpms if they are cracked, or water will leak in to them.<br />New ones can be had for as little as $14USD each. The new ones seem to have a more weather resistant plastic coating.
