Warning horn sounds continuously when switch is in ON position. Disconnecting 3-pin connector to VRO stops horn. There is continuity (resistance meter check) between black and tan wire connector pins going to VRO. Running engine on separate gas tank with 50:1 gas/oil mix did not stop horn. Disassembled cover on back of VRO to see if switch parts were stuck, could not see any problem, but I don?t know what would be normal.
Do I need to replace the VRO?
Additional information : Disassembled carburetors and found very high oil to gas mixture in all 3 bowls. Now I am almost sure I need to replace VRO.
Up date: Replaced VRO Problem solved!
