Electrical parts compatibility between engines

Can someone tell me if the CDI boxes and ignition coils off of a 1990 120hp Force will work in a 1986 125hp Force? They are both four cylinder and the boxes look the same, but I can not positively tell. I found a guy parting out the 120hp engine and I want to know what parts I could keep in reserve for my 1986 125hp Force engine. Thanks.

Black ones are interchangeable with black ones.
Blue ones are interchangeable with blue ones.

If you need to swap a blue one for a black one, use the coil of the same color.
