where can i get distributer cap and rotor for these motors or is there a upgrade that would be better
i can supply exact model year after work today

They are getting hard to find, even used. The rotor itself is not replaceable individually, and requires you to replace the shaft. Best 'cheap' source is eBay. There is usually one or two available. Be prepared to spend upwards of 250 dollars used for a complete distributer with wires.

There is no electrical conversion possible without extensive modifications.

well i took it out and motor ran ok. need sea foam and good tune-up.
had low power at wot
i tryed both suggestion for distributor caps no good
hoping someone may have another ideal as cap is very dirty inside, can this be safely cleaned and how

Mineral Spirits will work fine..soft brush..no cracks, its good to go..
