DT 150 convert to premix

tired of trying to remedy warning sensors, i have water pressure gauge and head temp gauge, want to bypass oil injection and go premix,what do i cap off and which wires to disconnect to stop it shutting down..Thanks.

i would not recommend to convert to premix.
your oil pump is a gear driven oil pump wich is connected to your crankshaft.
these gears get the lubrication directly from the oil pump.
(its not a VRO pump that pumps on crankcase pressures)
if you would take the oil away in the oilpump, the oilpump gears will selfdestruct and posibly damage your crank shaft.

stay with the oil tank to prevent engine damage.

Thanks, i see what you mean, i just cant figure out why the "limp home" keeps kicking in..to date i have -drained & cleaned oil tank & filter refilled w/ Penzoil blend..any other things i might do to remedy situation? Thanks again for your help.

You always remove the oil pump shaft when removing oil injection. You unbolt the pump and slide out the bushing and shaft and then push the bushing in and rebolt the pump so you want have a vacuum leak. You will then have to connect the wires from your tank sensor so your gauges read full and so you want go in limp mode.
